one piece question... whitebeard is luffys dad... gold rogers is aces father...yet luffy and ace are brothers?
the question says it all...
Asked by Waffle. C about Comics Animation
Maybe theyre not real brothers? No Whitebeard is not Luffys dad. Luffys dad is Dragon the Revolutionist on another island. It seems that Robin might be meeting them. Luffy and Ace were raised by Garp the Marine general. Garp was promised to raise and protect Ace and the same would go for Luffy. The requests are made by two dangerous enemies of Marines HQ: Gol D. Roger and Monkey D. Dragon. Why? There is no reason yet.

Luffy and Ace are both brothers. What you said is entirely wrong. They supposedly share the same mother and for sure are the sons of Monkey D. Dragon. Their father however is a revolutionist against the World Government so Luffy and supposedly Ace were raised by their grandfather Monkey D. Garp who is in the Marines irony right? also why Luffy totally hates the Marines but is ok with them too...it sounds weird but its right. Whitebeard is just Aces captain and Gol D. Rogers is actually a distant relative of the two though he was dead LONG before they were born. Hope that helped :

o.k 1It never states in the manga or the show i think about Aces age someone on Wikipedia might of wrote that 2Luffy and Ace are not brothers because both of aces parents died fact Luffys dad is dragon fact so they cant even be half brothers they just consider them self brothers as if they were adopted 3Ace never said that Dargon was his father all he said was how can we be marines when we have blood of the most wanted criminals running through our veins and the 2 most wanted criminals are the deceased Gol.D.Rogers which turned himself in and the current leader of the revolution Monkey.D.Dragon who is uncaught.
