Looking for a bad SEO company Please read explanation :?
Hello Yahoo Community My boss wants me to find an SEO Search Engine Optimization Company that is a scam so I can talk to them and figure out their bad tactics. We want to be able to use this for an article or advertising so we can warn others about bad SEO practices out there. Does anyone have any history with a bad SEO company and want to give me their website address? Thanks Thanks Brian your response was very helpful.

Hi This is obviously a loaded question. Just like other industries there are plenty of unscrupulous SEO companies. While I would not name any names I would tell you to do the following: 1. Look for people who guarantee a 1 ranking. Common sense will tell you that there is no such guarantee. 2. Look for companies that blast out millions of bulk emails promoting their services. They typically have little contact info and are asking you to email them back. Majority dont even have a website. Many scammers dwell in this area. 3. Search consumer complain sites such as the ripoffreport.com . 4. Look at companies that want to be paid via wire. Always a bad indicator.
