PS3 I have played on and owned both. The graphics for PS3 are better Playstation network is free you can browse the internet you can chose your own theme for the Playstation dashboard God of War the people online are nicer everything is wireless everything you can recharge your controllers on the PS3 the PS3 has a blueray player. The PS3 is better in almost every way. There is a reason its more expensive.

To tell you the truth from an unbiased opinion Im not going to preach to you about which one is better. Both systems are great but if you want it for things besides game play I would choose the ps3. I personally like the Xbox controller better so I play more games on the Xbox while watch movies check the Internet and such on my ps3. Games very for system Xbox seems to have better sports game while ps3 has better action based games. In my opinion they are both great system you just gotta choose what matches your interest. Also as stated above a ps3 requires no money for online game play while you have to buy a Xbox live account. And for the visual I disagree because if you use an hdmi they are both the same in my opinion unless your watching movies. blue ray

If you like showing off to your friends and say you own a 3D BluRay playercare about your hardware dont care about controller and you dont care about online. PS3. If you actually care about online experience People have MICS Party Chat Send messages up to more than 20 send voice mail get early access to DLC before PS3 and PC XBL is pretty much always up and ESPN 3 dont care about Bluray dont care about hardware care about controller dont care about XBL price and dont care if you can browse the internet on your console its a gaming system for gods sakes. Xbox 360 all the way. If you want to play the greatest online TPSFPSMMORPG Hack and slasher ever The Conduit then the Nintendo Wii all the way. Xbox 360 vs. PS3 Hardware: Microsoft has a high rate for faulty Xbox 360s and a lot of people have to either buy new ones or repair them constantly. The PS3 works very well Sony is known for high quality hardware. So The PS3 wins that. Online: Xbox LIVE costs you money but the service is very good. PSN is free so it has an advantage over price. It depends on what youre looking for. The Xbox has some awesome online service though so Xbox wins that. Games: Xbox 360 has better games then the PS3. Halo Gears Of War Bioshock Left 4 Dead the list goes on and on with the exclusives. The PS3 isnt bad itself but it lacks in a great library of exclusive games. But the Xbox wins this one. Controller: The PS3 controller is very well made along with the motion sensoring makes it better than the Xboxs chucky piece of plastic but I like it since I have bigger hands I love the Xbox controller but the PS3 wins it. Features: The Xbox has Netflix Marketplace and some other great features. While the PS3 has its own online apps the Xbox wins this one since the features it has make it a home entertainment system. The most redeeming feature of the PS3 is the ablitity to play BluRay discs which make it a wonderful additon to any living room. The Xbox however has just a slight edge on it making it a close call but the Xbox wins this one. Overall: It depends on what you like more great games or great service. The Xbox 360 is better since it has a 3/5 but Id still say the PS3 is still a awesome console nevertheless and its a close call. Its just my opinion however.

Xbox baby i know for fact thet there is a new disk format that allows data to be stored on a disk not blu ray up to 60 gb and they going to use it on the 360.

Then ask your self these questions. 1. What games do I want to play. Remember some games are exclusive meaning they only are for one console. For instant mgs 4 is only on ps3 and halo is only on xbox 360. 2. The Consoles Network. Check what your friends have so you can play with them on the same network. When you play a game you dont use a all consoles network. PS3 have there PSN xbox 360 uses xbox live so if you have ps3 and your friends have xbox 360 even if the game is identical. You will not play on the same network. 3. Money to spend. This is important bc if you dont have or you have less then you cant buy it. Plus you need the money for the game. With playstation you have a free subscription to the psn but xbox 360 charges money yes in psn you have playstation plus kinda like the xbox. Some say its worth but I havent tried it out guess its personal opinion/taste. To put it simple take the time and think what you want/need so you dont make a mistake and have to regret it.
